October 4, Lepel /Own. inf./. A bright event during the city's birthday celebrations was the awarding of young Lepel residents, whose names are a source of pride for the Lepel region.
Sincere applause from the audience, cheerful shouts from relatives and friends are heard, as young, cheerful, and purposeful boys and girls come onto the stage one after another. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Pyotr Shyshnyan, congratulates them wholeheartedly and expresses his best wishes. What a touching and pleasant moment! Maria Galinskaya, a graduate of Secondary School No. 1, was annually a winner of district physics Olympiads and a winner of the regional and participant of the republican Olympiads in chemistry. The deep knowledge of physics and chemistry that Masha acquired during her schooling has been very useful in her future profession. The girl is studying at the dental faculty of Vitebsk State Medical University. Daria Yasnaya, a graduate of Secondary School No. 1, was once a winner of the regional and participant of the republican Olympiads in labour training. In addition, Daria took part in a scientific and practical conference and was a multiple winner of district decorative and applied arts competitions. The girl decided to become a designer and is now acquiring knowledge at Vitebsk State Technological University. Radion Madatov, a student of the 11th "A" grade of Borovskaya Secondary School, has for several years held prize-winning places in district Olympiads in geography and history, was awarded a Diploma of the Second Degree at the regional Olympiad, and became a participant of the republican Olympiad in history.
One can only admire the boundless creative energy, inspiration, and diligence of Yana Barynova. The girl is a fifth-grader at Secondary School No. 1, actively participating in international subject Olympiads and competitions. She is the soloist of the "Kolyadochki" pop studio at the Center for Children's Creativity, a winner of the district and regional "Hello, World!" competitions. Furthermore, the young artist became a second-degree laureate of the seventh
international festival of young talents "Land Under White Wings" and other creative competitions. Hanna Galavina is successfully moving towards her goal, having studied at the exemplary children's and youth studio "Tineydzher" at the Center for Children's Creativity. Anya's films left many vivid impressions on the audience during the Third Republican Competition of Children's and Youth Video Films "Territory of Creativity" at the National Television Competition "Televiershyna", in the final of the Republican Competition of Video Films "My Dear Homeland", and the international festival of children's and youth video "Crystal Stork". After completing the tenth grade at Secondary School No. 3, Hanna graduated from the Vitebsk branch of the Higher College of Communications, and now works in the city department of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, while pursuing a correspondence course at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, majoring in "Information Technologies". Lepel region is proud of the name of Valentin Shkiranda, a graduate of the "Tineydzher" children's television studio of the Center for Children's Creativity, who successfully participated with his reports, stories, and films in the regional competition of children's and youth mass media "The Word is Ours!", the "Talent Chest" competition, and the international festival "Crystal Stork". Valentin graduated from Secondary School No. 3 and is currently a second-year student at the Lepel State Professional Lyceum, where he is acquiring the professions of driver and mechanic.
To the sincere applause of the audience, Anastasia Karpushonka, a seventh-grader from the theatrical department of the Lepel Children's Art School, was also invited to the stage. Anastasia is a laureate of the republican stage of the international competition "Magic Chest", the festival of theatrical art "Tipsya-2010",
regional festivals and celebrations of theatrical art, and the competition of young poets and composers. This year, Anastasia registered her copyrights in the genre of poetry and musical composition at the Repu
at the Belarusian National Center for Intellectual Property for Science and Technology. The name of Yana Strelchenka is well known to many art lovers. The girl is a fourth-grader at Secondary School No. 3, but despite her young age, she has already brought fame to Lepel region not only within the oblast and the republic, but also beyond its borders. She excels in her studies at the piano and choreography departments of the Children's Art School, has become a laureate of the international competition of children's and youth creativity "Ruzha Viatroŭ Belarusi" (Belarusian Rose of Winds), the fourth open competition of young performers "Shanuyu ciabie, Belarus" (I Respect You, Belarus), the international competition "Kubak Yevropy" (Cup of Europe), the seventh international festival of young talents "Ziamlia pad belymi krylami" (Land Under White Wings), etc.
