A year ago, Alexander Glazko, an inspector of the department for the protection of fauna of water bodies and hunting economy of the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve", received a gunshot wound from a poacher while patrolling the territory, which resulted in his death. The memorial plaque was unveiled by the Director of the Berezinsky Reserve, Andrey Prokoshin. The ceremony was also attended by Anatoly Yankovsky, head of the protection department, who detained the poacher who shot Alexander Glazko at the time.
