Commemorative postal envelope cancellation with the stamp "Day of Belarusian Written Language" took place in Horadok

As part of the celebration, a ceremony was held to cancel a commemorative envelope and an original stamp dedicated to the XXX Day of Belarusian Written Language.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Igor Brylo, the Minister of Information Vladimir Pertsov, and the Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Natalia Gordeienko.

The stamp depicts books, a quill, and historical buildings; the envelope features the sculptural composition "Taras on Parnassus," the local history museum, the city's coat of arms, and the emblem of the Day of Belarusian Written Language.

The print run of the envelope was 30 thousand copies.
