The Vitebsk region signed a memorandum of cooperation with Zonghai Business Management (Jinan) Co during the 6th China International Import Expo in Shanghai. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The signing of the memorandum of cooperation took place within the framework of Vitebsk Region Day at the exhibition. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, on behalf of the Belarusian region.
"A memorandum of cooperation was signed with Zonghai Business Management (Jinan) Co on the establishment of the Belarus Industrial Park in the PRC in the city of Qingdao (Shandong Province) and the China Industrial Park in Vitebsk," the regional executive committee clarified.
Today, Vitebsk Region Day is being held at the exhibition, with the participation of more than 10 enterprises from the northern region of Belarus. Products are being presented by the Vitebsk Meat and Dairy Products concern, Polotsk Dairy Plant, Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory, the Lepel Dairy Plant branch of the Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant, the Vitba Confectionery Factory, the Naftan plant, the Polotsk-Steklovolokno enterprise, and the Orsha Linen Mill textile manufacturer.
Among the invited guests are representatives of Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, and Shandong provinces, with which the Vitebsk region has previously signed agreements and memorandums of cooperation.
