On November 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Members of the Standing Commission on Industry, Fuel and Energy Complex, Transport, Communications and Entrepreneurship of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly will discuss with the heads of enterprises of the Vitebsk region the need to improve legislation in the field of industry on November 16 in Vitebsk, the director of the executive directorate of the regional Employers' Union, Albert Karalev, told a BELTA correspondent. Deputies will hear the opinions of practitioners managing both state-owned and private enterprises at a joint meeting of the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the presidium of the regional council of industrialists and entrepreneurs. According to Albert Karalev, the most pressing issues for the director corps are the unification of Belarusian laws operating in the economic sphere with similar acts of Russia and Kazakhstan in connection with the creation of a single economic space. For example, all three integration participants have different profit tax rates, with Belarus at 24%, Russia at 18%, and Kazakhstan at 12%. A similar situation arises with value-added tax. Thus, the price competitiveness of products of Belarusian enterprises is reduced. Managers intend to discuss another important aspect of their activities with deputies – the right to risk in economic activities. "In modern conditions, it is necessary not to limit the initiative of the director corps, but to encourage it," Albert Karalev is confident. It is expected that almost 50 heads of enterprises and organizations of the region will take part in the meeting. -0-
