A consignment of non-ferrous metal worth Br31 million was detained in the Orsha district, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the information and public relations department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The previous day, on the Brest - Minsk - Russian Federation border highway near the village of Vysokoye, State Automobile Inspectorate officers detained a ZIL vehicle driven by an unemployed resident of Baranovichi, born in 1989, who was transporting 2.7 tonnes of non-ferrous metal scrap. The driver could not provide any relevant documents for the cargo. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the man under Article 12.29, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Belarus. The cargo has been seized.-0-
