"Now passengers of Belarusian Railway can refund a travel document previously purchased online without visiting a ticket office," the specialists noted. The new service will improve the quality of passenger service and increase the attractiveness of using the online ticket sales system.
A refund for a travel document can be processed directly on the BZhD website in the "Personal Account" section. The funds for the electronic ticket will be credited to the bank card used for the payment.
The press centre drew attention to the fact that travel documents paid for via the Belarussbank "Internet Banking" system and via the "Расчет" (ERIP) system can only be refunded at a Belarusian Railway ticket office. According to specialists, the ticket refund function on the website will be implemented in the future as payment systems become ready.

Passenger travel using electronic tickets with electronic registration was first organised on the Belarusian railway in September 2012. BZhD notes a growing interest in this service year by year. In February 2016 alone, 12.2% of the total number of travel documents issued through the ASU "Express" system at ticket offices were sold via the internet resource.
