Young trainees of the taekwondo section of the Belarusian Public Association "Taekwondo" are purposefully increasing their tally of victories in prestigious competitions.
Not long ago, the young athletes returned from the Sixth ITF Taekwondo Tournament "Sparta Cup", which took place in Minsk. The tournament lasted for two days. In addition to the participants from Lepel, young athletes from Minsk also took part in the competition.
Thus, on the first day of the tournament in the "Tul" pattern complex, in the age category from six to seven years, Victoria Urban took second place, and third place in the category from eight to nine years was awarded to Snezhana Telepen. The young athletes also performed well in the "Sparring" combat complex. In the age category of five years (weight 21 kilograms), Kirill Prygozhov took second place, and in the category of six-seven years (plus 29 kilograms), Nikita Khatskevich came second. Among the girls in the age category of six-seven years (weight 23 kilograms), Victoria Urban took second place, and in the age category of ten-eleven years (weight 42 kilograms), Nikita Bumaga was awarded second place.
The second day of the tournament was no less successful for our athletes. In the "Tul" pattern complex, Ksyusha Galuza and Alina Aufyeronok took second place, and Sergey Krivitsky took third place. In the "Sparring" combat complex, in the age category of eight-nine years, Egor Khatskevich became the leader, in the category of ten-eleven years (42 kilograms), Sergey Krivitsky won, in the same age category (38 kilograms), Ksenia Galuza became first, and in the category of eight-nine years (32 kilograms), Snezhana Telepen. Second place in "Sparring" in the age category of ten-eleven years (32 kilograms) was awarded to Zhenya Agaponko, and third place in the category of eight-nine years (29 kilograms) was taken by Sasha Maksimov.
Pasha Sushko demonstrated excellent athletic training, missing out on a prize-winning place by just one point.
In the team standings for the "Tul" pattern complex, our athletes took third place.
