List of light jobs for persons aged 14 to 16

Simplification in a particular area of legislation does not always yield the results expected by its initiators. As an example, consider the list of light types of work that persons aged 14 to 16 can perform, which is an appendix to the Resolution of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of October 15, 2010, No. 144 (hereinafter referred to as the List). Until July 25, 2014, it was an extensive list of 68 items, which detailed "down to the smallest detail" all types of light work that allowed teenagers to earn money without harming their health.

However, someone in the labour department decided that such detailed regulation was excessive and combined most of the jobs listed in this list into several consolidated categories: agricultural work, forestry and urban greening work, construction and repair work. To these were added specific types of work that could not be attributed to any of these consolidated categories: cleaning services, rental services, work using a personal computer, etc. The result was formalised in the Resolution of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of June 27, 2014, No. 53, which set out the List in a new version.
