Recently, pedestrians have been actively using modern personal mobility devices (PMDs) - electric scooters, hoverboards, segways, electric unicycles, and other similar means of transport.
The traffic police reminds that unsafe use of such mobility devices can turn them into a source of increased danger, both for pedestrians and for those operating PMDs. After all, such a means of transport can develop significant speed and lead to serious injuries.Remember that it is FORBIDDEN: - to operate while intoxicated; - to move on the roadway - in exceptional cases! - to carry passengers, unless provided for by the design; - for persons under 14 years of age (except in pedestrian and residential areas).
It is not recommended to use a phone or listen to music with headphones while moving.
If the owner of a PMD violates the Traffic Regulations, they will be held accountable as a pedestrian.
