5 July, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. Pension recalculations in Belarus will be carried out from 1 August and 1 November of the current year. This was announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Marianna Shchetkina, at a meeting of the National Council on Labour and Social Affairs, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "The higher the wage growth rate for the previous period, the higher the pension amount will be," the minister emphasised. She recalled that in accordance with the Presidential decree, there should be four pension recalculations this year. Two of them, in February and May, have already been carried out. In addition, Marianna Shchetkina added, "the government will discuss issues concerning additional measures to support and enhance the welfare of the people." -0-
