According to clause 178 of the Traffic Regulations, the transportation of children in a passenger car must be carried out using:
- child restraint systems that comply with the child's weight and height, - for children up to 5 years of age.- booster seats, special seat cushions, additional seats - for children aged 5 to 12 years.
If your child's height exceeds 150 cm, but they are not yet 12 years old, then the child can be transported without using child seats.
A car seat is not a formality, but a necessity. It provides maximum protection that cannot be replaced by a parent's hands or standard seat belts.
A child's safety must come first!
