Regional competitions in pneumatic rifle shooting among members of the regional DOSAAF Council were held at the Vitebsk regional organizational structure of DOSAAF. The Lepel district organizational structure of DOSAAF was represented by a team of four people. Among them were Pavel Lyamtsev, director of the Lepel DOSAAF driving school, as well as three students from the Starolyadno secondary school-kindergarten: Bazhena Gushcha, Alexey Valevich, and Dmitry Ignatovich.
It is gratifying to note that in the individual standings, Bazhena Gushcha took first place, and in the overall team standings, the Lepel team took second place. The winners took home Certificates of Honor, Cups, and valuable prizes. Bazhena received a foreign-made hairdryer as a gift. The team was awarded a multi-shot pneumatic rifle.
