Until November 30, registrars will survey all structures, both operational and under construction, where people live or may live by the time of the population census in October 2019, as well as non-residential structures occupied by organisations.
This work is carried out to compile lists of houses and premises in cities, urban-type settlements, and large rural settlements. One thousand people are involved in this work, and employees of housing and communal services organisations from all regions are engaged.
Registrars are equipped with tablets with special software installed, which allows real-time access to cartographic materials – maps of the registrar's area, showing roads, streets, and structures.
All address points of buildings contain data on location, purpose, number of apartments, entrances, etc. During the check, the registrar will clarify whether the building actually exists at the specified address, verify the attribute information, and correct it if necessary.
