On November 1, 2021, as part of the "White Cane User" month-long event, the first district tournament in board games for visually impaired people was held at the Lepel Physical Culture and Recreation Complex.
The competitions were held in two board games – dominoes and draughts (tactile), with 10 participants taking part in the tournament.
Board games serve as a form of therapy for visually impaired or blind individuals, enabling them to socialise more easily and quickly.
