On January 12, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, jointly with Open Joint Stock Company "Belagroprombank" and Belarusian Public Association "Rural Tourism", has announced the start of the "Best Agro-Ecotourism Estate of the Vitebsk Region 2011" competition, BELTA was informed by the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The competition is held for the third time and, according to its organizers, is gaining popularity among agro-ecotourism estate owners every year. Many of them prepare for it long before the official announcement. And for good reason - the competition is growing year by year. If at the beginning of 2010 there were 273 estates operating in the region, then a year later there were 322, and in 2011 their number increased by another 63 entities. Traditionally, the competition will be held in five nominations: "Preservation of Belarusian Traditions"; "Healthy Lifestyle"; "Hospitality"; "Green Estate"; "Style and Harmony". The prize-winners of the competition will be awarded commemorative prizes and diplomas. The official award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the competition will be held in a solemn atmosphere. The first-place winners will take part in the now traditional republican competition, held by OJSC "Belagroprombank" jointly with BPO "Rural Tourism", in May 2012. -0-
