According to information as of August 20, 98.2% has been harvested in the Glubokoye district. The harvest is intended to be completed here in the near future. Among the region's leaders are Chashniki district (94.7% of the area harvested), Postavy district (94%), Beshenkovichi district (93.6%), and Polotsk district (91.4%). Grain harvesting in these regions is also planned to be completed within the next few days.
In total, 85.4% of the area, or 227 thousand hectares, has been harvested in the Vitebsk region. 684.6 thousand tons of grain have been threshed with an average yield of 25.6 centners per hectare. The highest yield is in the farms of Polotsk (32.4 centners per hectare), Vitebsk (32.0 centners per hectare), Orsha (31.9 centners per hectare), and Verkhnedvinsk districts (30.2 centners per hectare).
Currently, 75 thousand-ton crews are working in the fields of the region, including six crews that have threshed 2 thousand tons of grain each. Two three-thousand-ton crews are also working in the region – they are harvesting grain in the fields of Lepel and Orsha districts, gradually approaching the 4 thousand-ton mark.
