On July 12, Minsk /Olga Belyavskaya - BELTA/. The fifth tanker with Venezuelan oil for Belarus will arrive in Estonia, the press service of Belarusian Railway informed BELTA correspondent. "According to CJSC Belarusian Oil Company and the Estonian port of Muuga, the next batch of Venezuelan oil in the amount of 80 thousand tons will be delivered to Belarus in transit through Estonia in the third decade of July," the press service reported. Venezuelan oil, which will be delivered by the fifth tanker to the Estonian port, will be processed at OJSC Naftan. Previous supplies of oil from Venezuela to Belarus were carried out through the port of Odessa and were intended for processing at the Mozyr Oil Refinery. After the Venezuelan oil is delivered to the Estonian port, it will have to be unloaded into tanks and cleared through customs. After that, its loading onto railway transport will begin. The oil will be transported in tank cars. Belarusian Railway plans to use 22-23 railway trains for this purpose. The transportation time of hydrocarbon raw materials by rail to Belarus from Estonia will be shorter than from Ukraine. If the distance between Odessa and Mozyr is about 1051 km, then between the port of Muuga and Novopolotsk it is 850 km, Belarusian Railway added. It is not yet known whether Venezuelan oil will continue to be supplied to Belarus through the Estonian port. "This issue is still under consideration," the press service said. "As for the tariff for transporting oil from Estonia, this issue is also currently under discussion." An agreement on the supply of Venezuelan oil to Belarus was signed in March of the current year. According to the agreements of the presidents of the two countries, the total volume of its supply should be about 4 million tons over 12 months. The first batch of hydrocarbon raw materials from Venezuela (80 thousand tons) was delivered to the seaport of Odessa at the end of April of the current year. From Odessa, the oil was transported in railway tank cars to the Mozyr Oil Refinery.-0-
