Put yourself in the shoes of a teenager's mother who went to the lake with friends and did not return alive simply because the woman who drove her daughter and her two acquaintances turned out to be drunk.

Or in the shoes of a 6-year-old girl's mother, who was returning home with her father in August, but they never reached home because the man got behind the wheel drunk.

Speeding, ignoring overtaking prohibition signs, unforgivable overconfidence – this is the price of the lives of innocent children... And they cannot be brought back. Just as the pain of loss cannot be measured.

It is terrifying to imagine that such drivers could be near our loved ones and become a real threat to their lives...

Substantial fines, confiscation of vehicles. What else needs to be done to make people equate the concepts of getting behind the wheel drunk and committing murder?

Until every road user understands that only their own responsibility and vigilance will save them from disaster – nothing will change.
