July 31, Minsk /Svetlana Savko - BELTA/. The financing plan for state programs and measures in Belarus will be linked to banks' credit capabilities. This was announced on July 30 by Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich before hearing reports from governors, ministers, and heads of concerns on the expected results of the Belarusian economy's performance for January-July, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The relevant work on the plan for 2014 is almost complete, and a resolution of the Council of Ministers on optimizing state programs and measures will be adopted soon. As a result, approximately Br4.7 trillion will be saved. "Plans and projects, especially those with state support, will be financed only after thorough expert review," said Mikhail Myasnikovich, emphasizing that all investment projects must have design and estimate documentation before construction begins.
"Appropriate expert review and project approval must be carried out, and funding sources must be secured. Without these, facilities will definitely not be included. And they won't just be excluded from the program. There will be demands as to why they were not included or did not participate in tenders," the Prime Minister noted.
Regarding planned facilities nearing completion, the government, in conjunction with commercial banks, has identified resources for their completion.-0-
