31 August, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The government's and National Bank's action plan for macroeconomic stabilization is based on objective economic laws. This point of view was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by Petr Shershen, General Director of the Vitebskoblgaz production republican unitary enterprise, member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government.
"The economy develops according to its own rules, and the action plan of the government and the National Bank, announced at a meeting with the head of state, is based on market laws. In such conditions, it will be easier for the business community to work," the senator is confident.
As the head of the enterprise, Petr Shershen stated that it is impossible to achieve economic stabilization without strict labor and technology discipline. At the same time, the worker must be confident in their social protection. According to the senator, the Ministry of Energy is already studying the possibility of providing financial assistance to employees of enterprises subordinate to the department. Social support measures will primarily affect low-paid categories of employees and highly qualified workers.
According to the General Director, the stabilization of the macroeconomic situation largely depends on the cohesion of Belarusian society. "Measures to stabilize the macroeconomic situation once again confirm that the state, no matter how difficult it may be, does not intend to deviate from the course outlined by the IV All-Belarusian People's Congress," he added. -0-
