The inspections showed that the situation with fire safety at agricultural facilities remains tense. Thus, 26 fire safety measures were proposed for implementation to the heads of KUPSHP "Lepelskoye" and OJSC "Chereyshchina". Some of these fire safety measures have been proposed for implementation over the past few years. Among them: a number of livestock farms are not provided with telephone communication, the required water supply for firefighting purposes is missing, buildings are not equipped with a functioning lightning protection system, livestock, administrative, production, and storage buildings are not equipped with primary firefighting equipment. Training of employees according to fire safety regulations programs has not been organised. Measures to limit the spread of fire in case of a fire are not being taken (building structures, lighting electrical wiring, technological equipment are not cleaned of dust and combustible deposits, wooden structures of attic spaces are not treated with fire-retardant compounds).
During the inspection of OJSC "Vitebskles" "Lepel Timber Industry Enterprise", it was found that the wall finishing in the corridor of the administrative building on the evacuation routes was made of materials with unconfirmed fire hazard indicators. Stands with information on fire safety and life safety were not displayed in the enterprise's buildings. Employees who are members of the voluntary fire brigade, as well as employees involved in the implementation of the evacuation plan for people from buildings and structures in case of fire, are not provided with personal protective equipment for the respiratory and visual organs (self-rescuers).
At all inspected facilities, evacuation plans were practiced with employees, and tactical special exercises were conducted with the involvement of fire and rescue units of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations. Based on the results
