28 March, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A criminal case has been initiated following the explosion at the Lintup Alcohol Plant, the official representative of the Investigative Committee Department for the Vitebsk Region, Inna Gorbacheva, told a BELTA correspondent.
The criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 302 - violation of industrial safety regulations at an explosive facility. Investigators are working at the scene of the emergency: an inspection of the scene and other investigative actions are being carried out.
The report of an explosion in a workshop at the Lintup Alcohol Plant was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations on March 27 at 14:12. As a result of the explosion, four people were injured, one of whom later died in hospital.-0-
