On the initiative of the management of the Lepel branch of Vitebskobltop, the branch director Mikhail Milchanin and the chairman of the Lepel district organization of veterans Vasily Pschenko organized the delivery of a truckload of split firewood to a former prisoner, Gennadia Plisko.

The visiting guests congratulated Gennady Vasilievna on the upcoming holiday – the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and sincerely wished her peace, kindness, well-being, and good health.

Every year, there are fewer and fewer witnesses to that terrible war. Our task is to surround them with attention and care, to ensure that their lives are comfortable. And most importantly, so that the past is not betrayed by oblivion and never happens again, – noted Vasily Pshenko.
