In Novopolotsk, the main cause of road accidents is the violation of pedestrian crossing rules.

From January to April this year, 105 road traffic accidents were registered in the Vitebsk region, which is more than in 2024, resulting in 18 deaths and 112 injuries. In Novopolotsk, 5 road traffic accidents have been registered to date, in which five people were injured and one person died.
