For the third consecutive year, the "New Names of Belarus-2017" competition has provided an opportunity for working people to showcase their stage talents. All participants are non-professionals who work in organizations and enterprises, dedicating their free time to their passion. Approximately 40,000 people participated in this year's competition. The creative contest was held at various levels, starting directly from work collectives and culminating in the republican stage. The best participants were selected across several nominations, including "Vocal", "Instrumental Genre", "Original Genre", and "Choreography". 24 finalists competed for the top spot in Minsk during the final show. Prior to this, they were coached by the country's leading stage masters, vocalists, choreographers, and stylists, with stars of Belarusian pop music and prominent figures of Belarusian culture acting as curators.
Incidentally, the winners of this and previous years will embark on a joint concert tour titled "We Are Together" across approximately 50 Belarusian cities in the upcoming summer months.
Furthermore, an award ceremony and recognition event was held for the winners of the "Belarusian Master - 2017" competition, which took place throughout the year and identified the country's best specialists in 14 professions. The aim of the contest is to enhance the prestige of working people and mass professions, and to create an incentive for the further professional growth and skill development of employees.
