The winners of the joint project "My Bright Fatherland" by the First National Channel of Belarusian Radio and the literary and art magazine "Maladost" will be announced on November 5 in the Grand Studio of the House of Radio. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belteleradiocompany.
The literary competition, dedicated to the Year of Small Motherlands, was held from October 2018 to September 2019 inclusive in two nominations – "Poetry" and "Essay" – and three age categories: under 16, from 16 to 35, and 35+. The project's creative team received 868 entries from 346 authors. Following the monthly stages, 72 contestants reached the final.
At the awards ceremony in the Grand Studio of the House of Radio on November 5, the authors of the best works will be awarded, and laureates of special nominations will also be announced. In addition to the members of the professional jury, headed by poet Mikola Metlitsky, other distinguished guests will be invited to the ceremony. Finalists will have the opportunity to introduce their work to everyone and interact with cultural figures.
During the festive event, a special issue of Galina Shablińska's radio project "Tvorchy Vechar" will be recorded, which can be heard on the air of the First National Channel on November 7 at 21:05.
