Summer is the harvest season, winter is the time of heavy snowfall. There are four such organizations in the Lepel region – all of them are ready to provide assistance not only to ordinary citizens but sometimes also to industry-specific organizations.

— State-owned unitary enterprises (KOUPs) in the Lepel district have been operating for over 20 years. Currently, they are separate legal entities, and their main task is to provide services to the population. Comparing the work of these enterprises in the early years of their existence, it is clear that there is no longer such a rush for them – not everyone wants to maintain their own garden, some acquire their own equipment for work, some move to the city. Despite this, KOUPs are still needed, as they are a reliable support for the rural council and even for the entire district. It should not be forgotten that the work of KOUPs is an important source of revenue for the district and rural budgets. And most importantly, it is the right way to bring order and improve the settlements, — noted Igor Urban, Chairman of the Lepel District Council of Deputies.

The best proof of their work is a concrete example when such a form of work with the population meets the needs of an ordinary resident. For instance, Grigory Chuyes, a resident of the agro-town of Stai, proudly demonstrates his golden harvest. The man, along with his wife, runs a small farm and keeps chickens. To feed their livestock, they grow grain on their small plot of land. When it comes to harvesting, the resident of the settlement turns to the communal unitary enterprise "Salute-agro" for help.

— Everything is convenient and simple: you place an order, a combine harvester arrives, and it threshes everything cleanly. To avoid having to send it for further drying, I chose a spell of fine sunny days. After threshing, it goes straight for storage. I harvested almost a ton from my plot. Our chickens are provided with feed until the next season. It's wonderful! — noted Grigory Chuyes.
