Regina Vasyukovich, a labour veteran, has been awarded a Certificate of Honour by the Lepel District Executive Committee.

For significant contribution to the development of the veterans' movement, patriotic education of youth, and active participation in the socio-political events of the district, Regina Vasyukovich, Chairperson of the primary organisation of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans of the District Executive Committee, was awarded an Honorary Certificate of the Lepel District Executive Committee in a solemn ceremony.

The veterans' organisation has united in its ranks people enriched by life experience, who have an active life position, who honour the continuity of traditions and strive to be useful to society. Their activities command respect and admiration. Among those who pass on their experience to the young is Regina Leonidovna.
Our interviewee grew up in a family of teachers. After graduating from the 10th grade of Veselovskaya Secondary School, she entered the Grodno Cultural and Educational College (now Grodno College of Culture and Arts) and continued her studies at the Minsk Institute of Culture. As a qualified specialist, she returned to work in her native Lepel district. The first place of employment for the young specialist was the Department of Culture of the District Executive Committee, where she took up the position of inspector.
In 1986, she transferred to the Civil Registry Office (ZAGS). At that time, Alexandra Tsobanova was the head of the Civil Registry Office of the City Executive Committee, and Regina Leonidovna was the head of the Civil Registry Office of the District Executive Committee. Later, when the two departments were merged into one, our heroine became a specialist, and then a chief specialist, while Alexandra Tsobanova became the head of the Civil Registry Office.
Throughout her entire working life, Regina Leonidovna paid special attention to working with people. According to her fellow villagers, she always listened to them attentively, tried to explain in simple terms, and sometimes even to console their emotional pain...
In retirement, Regina Leonidovna does not sit idle; she actively participates in the veterans' movement and the life of the district, demonstrating to the youth through her activity how one can be useful to society.
