Under special control - minibuses

From July 8 to 10, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a set of preventive measures aimed at improving the safety of passenger transportation by route minibuses.
During a previously held event in March, 1290 violations were identified, of which 449 (35%) were related to seat belt usage violations.
On the specified days, traffic police officers will organize daily control over compliance with traffic regulations by drivers engaged in regular passenger transportation.
Inspectors will focus on preventing gross violations of the Traffic Regulations: driving under the influence of alcohol, non-compliance with the established speed limit, transporting passengers not wearing seat belts on intercity and suburban routes, using faulty vehicles, or when participation in traffic is prohibited.
We remind carriers of their responsibility for the life and health of passengers, as well as the need for strict adherence to the established Rules by all road users.
