A meeting of the interdepartmental council for assisting victims of domestic violence was held under the chairmanship of Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee.

The organisation of information and educational work on the issue of domestic violence prevention, the provision of comprehensive assistance to victims, and the application of a correctional program to perpetrators of violence - these issues were discussed in detail by specialists today.

- This problem needs to be addressed comprehensively, including monitoring by various specialists - medical professionals, psychologists, educators, law enforcement officers, and so on. We need to be sensitive and attentive to those around us. And first and foremost, to children, - said Veronika Alexandrovna.
