This requires the Stai water intake to have four wells – each with a capacity of 75 cubic meters of water per hour, or 1800 cubic meters per day. Three of them must operate normally, and the fourth must be in reserve, just in case.

During the drilling of the fourth well, it was discovered that at the design depth of 170 meters, the required volume of water was not found. In the event of unforeseen situations, this well does not guarantee normal, stable water supply. However, both the residential sector, social facilities, and industrial enterprises will be connected to it, along with the others.
Recently, a meeting was held at the district executive committee with the management of the limited liability company "Zakhodvodbud". In the Vitebsk region, they are the only ones with the licenses, equipment, and specialists capable of carrying out drilling work at such a depth. According to the agreement, the workers are to commence drilling at the beginning of April.
Once the well is deepened, a logging will be performed – a trial pumping, which should determine whether the well will provide the required volume and quality of water. If the results are positive, a pavilion will be built over the well, cables will be connected, and the facility will be integrated into the general water network. Then, as mentioned, the hydrants will be opened, and the water intake at the hospital will be shut off…
50 thousand rubles have been reserved in the budget for these works – a sufficient amount. Funding should proceed without interruption. It is too early to state anything specific regarding the timeline. The preliminary commissioning deadline is the third quarter of the current year.
