On December 17, Moscow / Eduard Pivovar - BELTA /. A Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on the terms of placement of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia was concluded today in Moscow. The document was signed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alexander Mikhnevich and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Andrey Denisov, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in the Russian Federation.
The agreement provides for the transfer of ownership of certain facilities in Moscow at Maroseyka Street, 17/6, to the Republic of Belarus, in particular, two non-residential buildings with an area of 3.5 thousand sq.m and 549 sq.m. These buildings will be part of the business and cultural complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia, the construction of which is planned to be completed in 2014.
The rent for the land plots under these real estate objects will be one Russian ruble per year. The agreement on the terms of placement of the Belarusian Embassy in the Russian Federation is concluded for a period of 99 years with subsequent automatic extension for subsequent ten-year periods. -0-
