By tradition, the district stage of the "Rescuers Through the Eyes of Children" review competition has concluded in Lepel. This competition is held with the aim of increasing children's interest in learning the fundamentals of life safety and developing their creative abilities. Works for the district stage were presented in the following nominations: "Fairy Tale," "Short Story," "Poem," "Drawing," "Comic Strip," "Handicraft," "Poster," "Small Form Sculpture," "Fire and Rescue Equipment Model," "MChS Sticker Pack," in which the children demonstrated their creativity and originality.

Children from general secondary and additional education institutions in the city of Lepel and the district participated in the competition.

The competition was held at the Lepel City Centre for Children and Youth, where children brought their works for a month. Over 65 works in various nominations participated in the competition.

The children created masterpieces from the simplest materials, such as threads, fabric, foam plastic, mounting foam, plastic, wood, clay, and much more. Young poets and writers also distinguished themselves in this competition. Among the numerous fairy tales, short stories, and poems, it was particularly difficult to select the best ones.

It is evident that in preparing for the competition, the children used not only their creative abilities but also the knowledge gained from life safety lessons, as the themes of the works are diverse, including fires and emergencies, industrial safety, and water rescue.

Following the results of the district round, the works of the students that have been recognised as the best and will participate in the regional stage of the review competition have been determined.
