With the aim of assessing pupils' knowledge of life safety fundamentals, drawing young people's attention to environmental protection and promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as popularising the rescuer profession and the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organisation of Rescuers-Firefighters, the district stage of the "Safety School – 2023" competition was held on February 13 at the educational institution "I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel".
The competition was attended by 33 schoolchildren, organised into three age groups: pupils of grades 1-4, pupils of grades 5-8, and pupils of grades 9-11.
The prize-winning places were distributed as follows:
Grades 1-4:
1st place – Shimаnovich Matvey, educational institution "I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel";
2nd place – Kudryavtseva Anastasia, educational institution "Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel";
3rd place – Leonchik Zakhar, educational institution "Polsvizh Basic School named after N.N. Tomashevich of Lepel District".
Grades 5-8:
1st place – Gorbachov Timofey, educational institution "Slobodskaya Secondary School named after N.M. Pshenko of Lepel District";
2nd place – Baginskaya Milana, educational institution "I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel";
3rd place – Zenovich Evgenia, educational institution "I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel".
Grades 9-11:
1st place – Baranova Arina, educational institution "I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel";
2nd place – Murashko Polina, educational institution "Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel";
3rd place – Parahonko Artem, educational institution "Polsvizh Basic School named after N.N. Tomashevich of Lepel District".
The participants who took first place in their respective age categories were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes, and will also represent Lepel District at the regional stage of the competition. We wish them good luck!
