26 June, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. A special express train for fans of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival will run between Minsk and Vitebsk, reported the head of the passenger department of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railways, Sergey Lyadenko, to a BELTA correspondent. Despite the official opening of the festival taking place on 12 July, the railway intends to dispatch the train on the day of the first concert – 10 July. The train will depart from Minsk at 13:00, and its passengers will arrive at Vitebsk station at 16:35. It will be possible to depart from the festival capital to the official capital at 1:00 AM. The train will arrive at Minsk station at 5:24 AM. Ticket prices are set in accordance with domestic tariffs. The train includes both reserved seat and compartment carriages. Initially, the train is planned to have 10 carriages, but their number can be increased if demand rises. This is the third year the Belarusian Railways has dispatched a special train for the "Slavianski Bazaar". According to Sergey Lyadenko, it is in demand among passengers, with the route to Vitebsk being particularly popular. This year, for the first time, passengers will be able to familiarise themselves with the festival programme inside the carriages. During the festival, passenger traffic through Vitebsk, including transit, reaches one hundred thousand people. This testifies to both the popularity of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" and the capabilities of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railways.
