19 November, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Forecasters predict light ice and fog. This was reported to BELTA by the Republican Hydrometeorological Centre.
Over the coming week, Belarus will be under the influence of warm air masses.
On Tuesday, 20 November, weather conditions across the country will mainly be determined by an area of high atmospheric pressure. Forecasters do not predict any significant precipitation on this day. During the night and in the first half of the day, fog will thicken over most of the territory, with light ice forming on roads in places. The wind at night will be light and variable, and moderate southeasterly during the day. Air temperature at night will range from minus 3 to plus 3 degrees Celsius. During the day, it is expected to be from zero to 5 degrees Celsius above zero. Atmospheric pressure will be rising.
As noted by the Hydrometeorological Centre, on 21-22 November, Belarus will still be under the influence of an area of high atmospheric pressure and warm air masses coming from Southern Europe. The weather pattern will not change significantly until mid-week. During these days, predominantly cloudy weather is expected in the country. No significant precipitation is predicted. Fog will thicken in places, and light ice may occur on some sections of roads. Air temperature at night will range from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees Celsius above zero.
