An inspector from the propaganda and public relations sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted thematic events at the Stayskaya and Polsvizhskaya schools in the Lepel District.

The meeting took place in the format of an intellectual quiz "Safety 112". Schoolchildren solved thematic riddles, developed "5 steps to rescue" algorithms for various emergency situations, and analyzed possible causes of fires from photographs.
The children enthusiastically participated in all tasks, actively raised their hands, and correctly answered questions.
Youngsters from the gymnasium and the agricultural technical college of the town of Lepel visited the fire station of the district department, where rescuers conducted an informative and engaging tour for them.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations staff showed the young guests around all the department's premises, where the children learned about the service of firefighters, the tasks they perform daily, and the equipment that helps them in their work. The equipment used by the unit also sparked particular interest. The boys and girls were able to examine the fire engines from the inside, see how the pumps, hoses, air cylinders, and protective suits are constructed. Many admitted that this was the first time they had seen such equipment.
The excursion not only broadened the children's horizons but also inspired them towards a future career as a rescuer.
