Natalia Tarasova, Assistant Hygienist of the Lepel District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, and Olga Bazhenova, Head of the District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, inspected the sanitary condition of streets, yards, container sites, and garage cooperative territories in Lepel.

The raid began on Depovskaya Street, near a retail outlet of the Lepel branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society. The location is very picturesque, with swans swimming on the ponds. However, nearby, beer and lemonade bottles, cellophane, and wrappers were floating.

No critical issues were found at the solid waste collection container sites on the day of the raid, except for small fresh piles of branches from garden pruning and isolated pieces of litter. Typically, the communal service promptly removes such waste.

The city beach is particularly pleasant these days and is ready to welcome visitors. By the way, May 1st marks the start of the season! Remember to stay safe!
