The assistant hygienist of the Lepel District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, Natalia Tarasova, and the assistant epidemiologist, Daria Avtukha, together with the editorial team, assessed how retail outlets maintain their territories in winter.

In some places, snow removal and anti-icing treatments were not carried out in a timely manner.

As the specialist explained, the complaints are often not about the entire territory, but only about individual sections.

Near some retail outlets, although snow was removed on time, it was piled up near entrances, in parking lots, and in green areas. As a result, when the snow begins to melt, it will lead to the accumulation of dirt and debris.

We remind you that owners are obliged to maintain the cleanliness of the adjacent area. They must ensure that there are no slippery areas, snowdrifts, or risks of falling ice, as well as snow removal from roofs and adjacent sidewalks, in accordance with regulatory acts.
