The procedure and conditions for stimulating entrepreneurial activity in towns and rural areas of Belarus are being improved. This is stipulated by Decree No. 2 "On Amendments and Additions to Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus", which the Head of State signed on June 27, the BELTA press service of the Belarusian leader reported.

The document, in particular, adjusts certain provisions of Decree No. 6 of May 7, 2012 "On Stimulating Entrepreneurial Activity in Towns and Rural Areas".

The Decree provides for the extension of existing tax benefits to the activities of enterprises - residents of free economic zones (SEZs) located in these towns and rural areas; branches (separate divisions) fulfilling the tax obligations of organizations applying a single tax for agricultural producers (in respect of activities not covered by the single tax).

The Decree also provides for the possibility of increasing the charter capital of a commercial organization not only through the contributions of its founders, but also through goods purchased by the organization itself.

In order to stimulate the involvement of ineffectively used property in economic circulation, the real estate tax exemption for this property is being cancelled.
