May 18, Ushachy /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The President's Address to the Belarusian people and parliament confirmed the country's priority – the social orientation of domestic policy. This viewpoint was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by the Minister of Information of Belarus, Oleg Proleskovsky.
This year, the President's Address was concentrated, concise, dynamic, and specific, he noted. A large section was devoted to economic issues. And here, in Oleg Proleskovsky's opinion, the most important thing is that, despite the economic difficulties of 2011, the state intends to implement all the tasks set by the All-Belarusian Assembly. The course of Belarus's foreign and domestic policy remains unchanged, and the main priority of domestic policy is its social orientation. "We have refused to implement some state programs, but we have not refused to support people. The state has withstood the entire social burden," emphasized Oleg Proleskovsky.
Speaking about another feature of the President's Address this year, the Minister of Information noted a large section of answers to questions from deputies of the National Assembly. -0-
