Today, the last bell will ring for graduates of the 9th and 11th grades of general secondary education institutions, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Belarus.
Graduation ceremonies with the presentation of certificates of general secondary education will be held on June 9 and 10. They will take place at schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums. In some cases, the graduation ceremony may be held at institutions of additional education for children and youth, and cultural institutions. During mass celebrations on city streets and in parks, as well as during the sunrise meeting, students will be accompanied by teachers and parents. Their duty will be organized at all events dedicated to the graduation ceremony. Traditionally, the sale of alcohol will be restricted during the celebrations.
The academic year will end on May 31. Final examinations upon completion of education and upbringing at the II and III levels of general secondary education will be held from June 1 to June 10 (for national minority languages in the 9th grade - May 24, in the 11th grade - May 25). Written examinations in academic subjects will begin at 9 a.m.
The first centralized testing exam (in the Belarusian language) will take place on June 12.
