Today, the last bell rang for the graduates of schools in Belarus, including those from the Lepel district.
In the near future, the young people will leave the walls of their schools and step into a new life. A serious period lies ahead of them – passing exams and the Centralized Testing, and admission to educational institutions. They will have to choose one path from many to then work and develop in their favourite profession.
We visited the celebratory assembly at Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel.
The weather was favourable and did not spoil such an important day for the students, parents, and educators. Following tradition, the school principal, Oksana Kharlenok, delivered kind parting words and heartfelt congratulations.
Honoured guests also congratulated the graduates and first-graders on the end of the academic year. The Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Veronika Khombak, offered sincere words of congratulation:
— I sincerely wish the graduates to pass their exams well and achieve high results. Good luck and success to everyone! Bon voyage!
On behalf of Viktor Azarenok, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, congratulatory words were delivered by the deputy's assistant, Marina Belchenko, as well as by the father of a graduate, the dean of the Lepel district, Archpriest Sergey Leshkevich.
At this celebration, it was not forgotten to acknowledge, congratulate, and thank the students who showed high results in their studies and sports competitions.
The celebration concluded with the last bell and musical performances prepared by the students.
