Consequences of carrying out entrepreneurial activities without state registration
Information technologies are increasingly used in entrepreneurial activities not only by business entities but also by individuals who create groups in Instagram, Viber, Telegram, VK for posting advertisements for the sale of goods. Citizens forget that entrepreneurial activity must be registered in the prescribed manner and carried out within the framework of current legislation.
For example, a citizen of the Vitebsk region, using a page on the social network Instagram, organized retail trade of goods (women's clothing, bed linen, blankets, etc.) with the aim of systematically obtaining income. The delivery of goods to buyers was carried out through delivery services. By a resolution of the economic court, the citizen was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine with confiscation of part of the income. In addition, the citizen was charged with personal income tax payable.
For reference. Entrepreneurial activity carried out without state registration entails the imposition of a fine of up to one hundred basic units with the confiscation of the subject of the administrative offense, the tools and means of committing the administrative offense, as well as up to one hundred percent of the amount of income received as a result of such activity, or without confiscation (Part 2 of Article 13.3 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses).
