As part of a large-scale information campaign aimed at raising public awareness of the effectiveness of using autonomous fire alarms, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations organized information and educational stands called "Safety Post" in grocery stores.

Representatives of the rescue service reminded citizens of the importance of observing fire safety rules, especially during the winter period, when the risk of fires increases due to the load on heating appliances.

Rescuers explained what precautions should be taken when operating stoves and fireplaces, as well as how to avoid overheating of electrical wiring.
