On December 10, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Postavy Dairy Plant" has started the installation of equipment in a new cheese production workshop, the chief engineer of the enterprise Georgy Kosten told a BELTA correspondent. The implementation of the investment project for the creation of a new cheese production facility is underway at a vacant site near the administrative building of the plant. The framework of the future workshop, measuring 48x96 m, has already been erected, underground utilities have been laid, and interior work is in progress. In parallel, the installation of the main technological line of Czech production has begun, for which representatives of the manufacturing firm have arrived in Postavy. "The readiness of the building itself is 80%, and the overall readiness of the facility is 70%. We plan to start commissioning the equipment in May," noted Georgy Kosten. The new mini-plant will produce hard cheeses. The production capacity will be 20 tons of cheese per day. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2013. In January-November 2012, the enterprise produced products worth Br176 billion, or 192.2% compared to the same period in 2011. Products worth $8.5 million were exported during the reporting period. Shipments were made to Russia, Germany, and Poland. The share of exports in revenue from sales for January-October was 28%. The energy saving indicator is minus 7.5%. The volume of investments over ten months reached Br55 billion. The main part of these funds was directed towards the project for the creation of new cheese production. The enterprise was founded in 1963. It was incorporated in 1998. It specializes in the production of cheeses, whole milk products, and casein, and also produces ice cream and mayonnaise - a total of over 40 product names. The range of whole milk products includes over 20 types. The plant's current cheese production capacity is 1.5 tons per day. The total number of employees is over 300 people. -0-
