Revenues to the budget from large organisations in the Vitebsk region for the first four months of the current year have increased by almost 62% compared to the same period last year, the press centre of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. In January-April 2012, large organisations in the Vitebsk region paid Br1349.7 billion to the budget, which accounted for 49.9% of the total revenues for this period. Compared to the same period last year, revenues from this category of taxpayers in current prices increased by Br516.4 billion. The growth rate was 161.9%. The largest share in the total amount of revenues from budget-forming organisations in the Vitebsk region is made up of excise taxes - 34.1% and profit tax - 31.6%. Large taxpayers paid Br460.4 billion in excise taxes to the budget, which is 96.7% of the total amount of excise taxes paid by economic entities in the Vitebsk region for the first 4 months of the current year. The largest amount of payments made to the budget was from OJSC "Naftan" - Br483.7 billion, PRUP "Vitebskoblgaz" - Br198.3 billion, OOO "Interservis" - Br178.2 billion, RUP "Vitebsky Likero-Vodochny Zavod "Pridvinye" - Br105.8 billion. It should be noted that 17.8% of the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region is formed by revenues from OJSC "Naftan".-0-
