I wholeheartedly congratulate the older generation on the International Day of Older Persons!
We wish to express many kind words on this bright autumn holiday, which has become a symbol of human wisdom, civic maturity, and generosity of spirit. It is these qualities that distinguish the older generation, who have lived through wars and upheavals, and who have created the economic foundation of modern society.
Your lives fully reflect the history of our native Lepel region. Courageously overcoming hardships, you have worked all your lives for a happy future. Many of you are still active today, working in enterprises and public organisations, while remaining the "perpetual motion machines" in your families.
Your active civic stance and humanity are a shining example and a positive life guide for younger generations.
We wish that your lives have as few troubled days as possible, and that hardships and illnesses pass you by. Thank you for being here for us. Thank you for finding the strength and time for public activities, and for always being concerned about the fate of our native Belarus and the Lepel region.
On the International Day of Older Persons, on behalf of the District Executive Committee, the District Council of Deputies, and on my own behalf, I wish you smiles, kindness, and human warmth. May everyone be gifted with the attention and understanding of their loved ones, care and sincerity, and attention from those who have succeeded you in your working lives.
May you have long lives, health, and peace of mind. You have done so much in your lives that you deserve respect, prosperity, and well-being. We wish you happiness and robust health!
