I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.
This holiday is rightfully the most cherished in the life of our people, evoking the highest spiritual uplift and unity of all who honour the glorious history of their Motherland and believe in its worthy future.
In the post-war years, despite great human losses, material difficulties and hardships, the national economy was restored from ruins and ashes. In a historically short period, Belarus made a powerful leap in its development, bringing to life the dream of many generations of creating a sovereign and independent state.
The courageous spirit, diligence and perseverance of the Belarusian people are the foundation of our achievements.
Our main task today is to worthily carry and pass on to our children and grandchildren the historical baton received from the generation of victors and creators, to preserve peace and tranquility on our native land.
I sincerely wish you happiness, health, success and new labour achievements for the benefit of the Fatherland!
